Delivery Service
Case Study
Spring 2021Seoul, South Korea, Saint Louis, United States
Post-COVID,
the taxi business is having a difficult time. Vacant taxis have been frequently
seen in the streets because of a lack of passengers, and call-taxi mobility
service companies have been failing. On the other hand, the number of delivery
service users has dramatically increased, resulting in contactless
delivery service companies making a huge profit. This has affected couriers who
run deliveries with a too-heavy workload, leading them to go on strike. I came
up with an idea of solving both problems of the taxi business and contactless
delivery services, so I conducted a case study based on the Korean mobility
service system.
