Pain is subjective, making it challenging to express accurately. Currently, patients use the ‘pain rating scale method’ to express their pain. However, this method results in uncomfortable and unsuitable interactions for patients and medical staff during communication.
This is a new communication method of pain between patients and medical staff, different from the existing method of expressing pain level. It enables new communication between patients and medical staff through a new visual expression elements.

Research
The common characteristic of these precedents is their user-friendly nature, allowing users to record their pain information in a detailed and categorized manner.
My approach concentrated on visually representing the feelings of pain, drawing insights from actual interviews with patients and doctors, and using human body anatomy as a visual reference to accurately describe the nature and appearance of the pain.
From my research into current methods of pain communication, it became clear that the primary need for patients is improved communication with their doctors. Inspired by this, I explored a new method of pain communication that could
serve as a universal 'pain language', similar to how alphabets function in verbal languages. The concept evolved similarly to how one might visualize a galaxy.
