How accurate are my senses? Do other people feel the same emotions when they receive the same input as me?
Are the numbers the same? Sensation refers to changes in human consciousness caused by external physical stimuli, but human emotions that accept the stimuli cannot be the same.
In the medical world, there is a method called NPRS (Numeric Pain Rating Scale) that measures the intensity of pain felt by humans and expresses it as an integer. When measuring, the patient first checks the PQRST (position, quality, relieving or aggravating factor, severity, timing) and then evaluates the pain. But how can the experimenter's pain scale be accurate when the stimuli are not standardized? So, I imagined a machine that would give the patient standardized, quantifiable, controlled stimuli during the NPRS test.
